Mr. Winter earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University. He practices in all areas of intellectual property law with an emphasis in patent prosecution especially in the areas of microelectronics, silicon wafer surface treatment, medical software design and fuel cell and battery technology. Before joining Belasco, Jacobs, and Townsley he worked with health care delivery systems at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington D.C. and as a patent examiner at the Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria Virginia.
